On my way to Printer’s Row LitFest I stopped at Hero because I’ve been meaning to pay them a visit. I had heard amazing things about their Lavender Latte, but, unfortunately, they had just ran out of their lavender syrup and were getting ready to make more. You see, they boil their Lavender to extract its essence in-house.  

It’s a tiny cafe with a bar that has space for about 5 or 6 stools and three tables inside plus two tables outside.

They have all kinds of coffee and tea beverages plus a decent selection of food, and offer free wi-fi.

Since they had run out of the lavender I asked for their suggestions and was torn between the cucumber option and the honey and nut. The barista said the cucumber was better for a cold coffee and I was hoping for a hot one, so we went with honey nut instead.
