I scheduled my writer’s meetup at this café, sight unseen, for the single reason that they had gluten-free goodies and vegan options for some of my regulars. None of us had ever set foot here, but as we filed out the door three hours later we agreed we all loved it.
My London Fog tea was delicious (black tea with steamed milk and vanilla flavor) and my hummus bagel with cucumber and tomato was finger-lickin’ good. I also want to mention that I opened a tab so I could order stuff throughout the day to rake up more than the minimum charge in order to pay with a credit card. I believe that they don’t ordinarily do this, but they were very nice and allowed me, so I’m very grateful.

The space has several seating options and plenty of natural light, bright-colored walls and local art. The a/c was either off or on the discreet side. We were quite happy not to be frozen for the first half of the meetup. When temps rose through the afternoon, getting a bit uncomfortable, a standing fan was brought out. So you see, these guys are super nice.

I went out to have my lunch in their back patio and the space was lovely. Back inside, I was mesmerized with their floor, made of pennies.
Overall we think this is a neighborhood gem and would love to visit again.
