Blue Bottle Coffee (Mint Plaza)

While Blue Bottle Coffee may be commonplace to those in the Bay Area with over 16 locations there, it was a new coffee destination for this guy from Chicago. On my short trip to San Francisco, I found myself with a few free hours and a need to add the first California coffee house to this blog.

The Attic

On a recent trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin, I felt the need to roam and go in search of a coffee shop where I could sit for a few hours to work in peace and experience a bit of local flavors. I didn’t have to walk far to find The Attic.

Printer’s Row Coffee Co.

Despite its name, this café is in Lincoln Park.

The owners are a couple from Ohio who have been roasting small batches of coffee since 2010, perfected their technique, and moved to Chicago. They loved their hobby so much that they turned it into a business and opened a micro-roastery and coffee shop. Continue reading →

Kaldi’s Coffee — KC Power & Light District

Moods Coffee Corner

On my recent trip to Amsterdam, I’ve been staying with a friend in the Jordaan neighborhood. Most mornings, I’d find myself at Moods Coffee Corner, a great little coffee house a 10 minute walk away with fantastic croissants and delicious coffee served by the nicest staff I’ve come across.
