Groundswell is a great find in Ravenswood. A former Starbucks manager decided to open a micro-roaster of beans from around the world and we are very grateful for this.

This might not qualify as a third place but Metropolis is one of my favorite coffees and that’s the $1 dollar cup of coffee they offer at the Doughnut Vault to accompany their generously-sized and delicious doughnuts.

I had heard amazing things about their Lavender Latte, but, unfortunately, they had just ran out of their lavender syrup and were getting ready to make more.
